Scott Wells Presented with Houston's "Magician of the Year" Award for Fourth Time!

Scott Wells was presented with this most prestigious award at the annual magic banquet for the Houston Association of Magicians held on Sunday February 19, 2017. This marks the fourth time that Scott has been presented with the award. This trophy is awarded to one local magician each year for "Outstanding Service to the Houston Association of Magicians". The criteria for receiving this award is based upon a number of factors including the number of magic performances one gives throughout the year, donating performances for hospitals and select charitable events throughout Houston, promoting and representing the city of Houston as a magician, publication of articles that promotes the art, and more. With Scott's podcast, The Magic Word Podcast, he reaches the world of magicians where he has guest magicians who share their experiences, help educate magicians to be better performers, and promote good will for the magical arts.
